Descout Foundation Uganda
Our Journey
Descouts Foundation Uganda was born out of a shared passion to address the growing socio-economic gaps affecting youth and young women in Buikwe District.
Recognizing that theoretical education alone was not keeping pace with local employment needs, we launched practical initiatives centered heavily around ICT literacy, hands-on craft skills, and essential community health.
By keeping our approach grassroots and working directly alongside families, school dropouts, and community leaders, we strive to turn our motto, "We Aspire to Inspire," into a tangible reality every single day.

Where we operate Buikwe District
We focus primarily on rural and semi-urban communities throughout the central region of Uganda, where resources for technical and vocational skilling are historically limited.
Our Motto We Aspire to Inspire
We believe that true inspiration triggers actions. By showing young people what is possible with digital and physical tools, we spark the initiative they need to sustain themselves.
Team
Behind Descouts Foundation Uganda is a dedicated group of local leaders, educators, and volunteers who believe every child and family in Buikwe deserves an opportunity to thrive. Meet the team turning vision into action every day on the ground.
